The meeting took place last Tuesday, April 9th, 2024. The YPG group was in the women’s prison with the UBB volunteers. On that day, we could count on the theatrical presentation of the YPG Group and dances.
Bishop Bira had the opportunity to do the “Straight Talk” podcast with some inmates. We had the open call service with approximately 250 inmates. In the service, there was talk about the “Book of Life,” the Word that says, “And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:15)
Maybe you say, what? That’s not fair; how could God allow this to happen? Well, God did not allow us to go anywhere.
It is the choices we make here on Earth. Hell, or as the word says, the lake of re, was not meant for us (humanity).
It was meant only for Satan and his demons. However, because God gave us free will, some have chosen sin instead of turning away from it, and because of their choices here on Earth, they end up cast into the lake of fire.
Jesus never wanted to be separated from any of us, but the choice of sin is what separated man from God.
For this reason, after learning about the Book of Life and the opportunity, the inmates were allowed to surrender their lives to the Lord Jesus and were called forward. They also received prayers for their family.
A notable highlight was the help of the UBB and YPG volunteers to assemble the furniture that the UBB sponsors donated to the inmates’ dormitory. What a special day that was!
