Do You Fold Under Pressure?

Do you fold under pressure? You will see what you’re made of in your most challenging moments. “When the going gets tough, the tough get going,” or at least that’s how the saying goes. There are moments in life we will face things that are so hard, and we will think we will never get through it.

However, it’s under the strongest pressure that the most precious diamonds are formed. If we examine how diamonds are made, they are put under immense pressure and high temperatures.

Some take years to reach the final stage. During that time, no one could see the result. All that is seen is the immense pressure that stone is experiencing.

Perhaps this is you. You see the immense pressure and feel the weight of your problems, illness, marriage problems, depression, and so on. So, you don’t see the diamond in the rough that God has prepared for you. We encourage you not to give up!

Your strength needs to rest in God because, without Him, you will always feel weakened and weary before your problems. It’s not about physical strength because physically, you can be strong and mentally weak. Strengthen your mind, and let God be your stronghold.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

Don’t crack under pressure, don’t be afraid, and do not be dismayed because even in your darkest depths, God is with you, molding you to become this intense diamond. Have you been feeling the weight of life hovering over you? Be strong and keep your faith because what God has prepared for you, in the end, is more precious than any diamond.
