Choose your hard. Yep, you read that correctly. Life is hard and full of challenges, difficulties, and battles. However, there are some challenges that you bring to yourself.

Think with me. It’s hard to lose weight. Indeed. But it is also hard to be overweight. Is it hard to quit an addiction?

However, it is also tough to live with the consequences of an addiction. It’s a challenge to be alone and do good. Yet, being surrounded by many and doing wrong is also a challenge.

It takes work to make a hard-earned living. It takes work to plot a scheme to make fast money. It’s hard to invest in a relationship; it is also hard to be in a toxic relationship.

Do you get the flow here? In life, there will always be hard decisions in front of us, some more difficult than others.

Sometimes you must decide whether you want chocolate cake, vanilla, or sprinkles on your ice cream.

The point is you must choose your ” hard,” what challenge is good for you? Choose that instead of choosing the challenges that put you down.

To do better is hard, but it is NOT impossible. It would be best to make choices to better yourself and not tear yourself down. Check this out:

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;  that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days… “ (Deuteronomy 30:19-20)

What does this passage mean, you choose the path you want to take.

Decision making is never easy, but God gave us the free will to choose, either good or what is bad.

I ask you, what will you choose today?
