Jesus said, “Whoever believes in Me, even if they die, they shall live.” What does this mean? Those who are in Christ will live in eternity even after they die (physical death). If a person is in darkness, how will they see the kingdom of Heaven?

Many times, something as common as a lie makes a person live in darkness, which makes them dead spiritually.

When there is darkness, people never see a way out of their problem and remain stuck as if a veil is over their eyes. If this person attempts to move forward or backward, to the left or right, they will stumble and fall.

That makes sense, right? When a person is in a dark room, they cannot see anything. At most, they walk very slowly, with their hands spread widely out in front of them, trying to feel ahead if they’ll knock something.

Bringing it to your spiritual life, how many are walking in darkness? The lies they continue telling keep them held in this “dark room,” and they cannot seem to find their way out.

Why? Lies are darkness, and the father of lies is the devil, as the word says.

For those that speak the truth, they walk in light. It is written, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” The truth is what is needed for the veil to be removed from your eyes, to stop walking in darkness, and to see the way out of your problems.

It is not that there is no way out, but it is because you have allowed darkness to prevail in your life through lies.

If God is truth, then one must walk in truth to receive God as their Father.

It is written,

But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God. John 3:21.
